m.Stock Account Opening Guide

Launched in April 2022, m.Stock is the broking platform created by the renowned Asset Management Company, Mirae Asset.

m.Stock Demat Account Opening Process Step by Step.

Step 1: Click on ‘Open Demat Account’ to start your account opening process. Enter your mobile number and click on ‘Open an Account Now’  to proceed further.

Step 2: Enter the OTP sent to your mobile number.

 

Step 3: Verify the mobile number linked with your Aadhar Card and click on Get OTP to proceed further.

Step 4: After verification, m.Stock’s voice assistant MIRA will assist you with the account opening process. Choose the language of your choice to proceed further.

Step 5: Enter your email id and click on ‘Get OTP’ to proceed further.

Step 6: Verify your email id by entering the OTP sent to you.

Step 7: In the next step, add your PAN card details and date of birth. Click on submit to proceed further.

Step 8: In the next step, select the brokerage plan that suits you and proceed to the payment to continue.

Step 9: After the successful completion of the payment, you will be asked to refer a friend. You can skip this option by clicking on “I’ll do this later.”

Step 10: As the next step, you need to click your photo for KYC purposes. Click on “Open Camera” and follow the instructions mentioned below.

 

Step 11: Upload your signature and click on “Confirm” to proceed further.

Step 12: In the next step, add your bank account that needs to be mapped with the trading account.

Step 13: In the next step, you’d be asked to add personal details like, marriage status, spouse name, personal income, trading experience,occupation etc. Click on “Save” to proceed further.

Step 14:  Add nominee details in the next step and click on “Save” to proceed further.

 

Step 15: If you trade or are planning to trade in Derivatives segment (F&O) then you will have to activate derivatives segment and upload any one proof like 6-month bank statement, salary slip, ITR acknowledgement slip, form 16 etc. 

Step 16: Then comes the eSign stage. Click on ‘Click here to e-sign’ to upload your signature.

Step 17: Once your signature is successfully uploaded, your account opening process is complete! You can now reap the benefits of zero brokerage for life!

m.Stock Demat Account Opening - Documents Required.

Documents required:

  1. A scanned copy of your PAN card.
  2. A scanned copy of Aadhar Card.
  3. An active mobile number linked to your aadhaar card. To complete the eSign in process, you will need OTP. So, make sure your mobile number is linked with your Aadhar card. If not, then visit the nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra to get it updated.
  4. Cancelled Cheque/Bank statement to link your bank account. Make sure the bank statement you are uploading has an Account number, IFSC and MICR code printed on it. If these are not clear then your application may be rejected. The cheque must have your name clearly inscribed on it.
  5. A scanned copy of your signatures. This should be done with a pen on blank paper and should be clearly visible. Pencils, sketch pens or markers will make the application rejected.
  6. Income Proof - It is required if you wish to trade in Futures & Options, Currency or Commodities. You can submit any of the following documents for income proof:
    1. Form-16
    2. Latest 6-month Bank statement
    3. Latest salary slip
    4. Networth certificate from a CA
    5. Income Tax Return Acknowledgment
